Fife Milton Edgewood Soccer Club

FMESC strives to provide an enriching and positive soccer environment for players at all levels.
To do this for our growing community, it all starts with volunteers from those
willing to work with our players as coaches and team managers to individuals stepping into board positions.

FMESC is a fully volunteer based soccer club providing playing opportunities
for players from 5 to 18 years old at all levels of skills.

Our mission is to promote and develop the game of soccer and the love for it.

Open Board Positions

Business Development Chair

The Director of Business Development shall be responsible for organizing, conducting and/or supervising all Club fundraising activities. All fundraising functions (Member Teams and Club) must be approved by the Board of Directors.


The responsibilities of the Director of Business Development shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
a) Act as the main point of contact for all Club related fundraising activities;
b) Develop fundraising and sponsorship proposals, for approval by the Board of Directors;
c) Monitor and approve all Member Teams fundraising and ensure funds are being tracked and accounted for per Club procedure;
d) Act as main point of contact for sponsorship and fundraising activities associated with jamborees or tournaments; and,
e) Provide a year-end summary report of fundraising activities.

COACHING OPPORTUNITY

As we begin planning for the upcoming 2024 Fall Soccer season, we are looking for new and returning soccer coaches for our recreational program. Many of you are currently or have been a FMESC volunteer and we thank you!

What is a Coach's Commitment to the Role:

  • Pre-Season (June/July)
    • Complete background check and online SafeSports certification
    • Attend Coaches Welcome BBQ
    • Get started on digital training tools
  • Fall Season (August - November)
    • Coaches planning meeting 
    • Communicate with team to inform them of practice time and recruiting a team manager
    • Weekly practices - 2 times a week; 1 hr. duration
    • League Games, starting weekend after Labor Day, 10-12 total games
      • Turkey Jamboree games for U12 and under, November
  • Post Season (November)
    • Coaches wrap up meeting
